Well I would have to say that the whole matrix serious is just so amazing. its mind boggling but amazing if you are not into it that much then I don’t think you will get it. Now I would say that this is my favourite one but now looking back at the first one and remembering how good it was i would say this was second best. I say this because the first one has a lot of action not to much. and the story is interesting as hell(not like kill bill 2) this one is carrying on from the first one so the story is not as good as when you first hear it but the highway scene is amazing.

I’m going to start with the special effects this time because the matrix is famous for its bullet time and wire fu stuff. Now I would have to say that this film has the best special effects there is really. Because some of the martial arts that they do are just amazing. They are really the masters of wire fu. The highway scene is probably the most remembered bit of the whole thing I can think of. It’s just so full of action and tension all rolled into one. So if you have not seen this baby yet then expect a hell of a lot more martial arts skills being chucked around and a lot more bullet time skills.

Now there is a few things i don’t understand on this film, now they might be mistakes but if you remember in the first matrix as Morpheus runs for the helicopter after breaking free from the handcuffs. Well you see that an agent shoots him, in all of the other films or scenes never again will you see an agent shoot someone. So that means that the agent is better at shooting people thru a wall as he has a hell of a lot of chances to kill people that he can see. Well it’s the same here. Near the beginning neo encounters some agents but as he fights them he says" oh upgrades" now this probably don’t mean they been upgraded but they have learnt more stuff. and Morpheus has always said when you are faced with an agent you must run like hell or something like that. but on the highway Morpheus has to fight one as they are on top of a truck now since it is an agent he is fighting the agent has got the advantage AND he has learnt a lot more, but still Morpheus looks like he is doing ok against him he isn’t doing really bad he is getting a few good hits in. which I just find weird, it might be that I’ve watched it way to many times.

Now the story just basically starts off where the last one ended. Morpheus believes in neo as being the prophecy that will save them from the sentinels. But some bad news the sentinels have starts to dig under ground to Zion (the big base where everyone not plugged in lives) so really this one is about neo finding out more stuff about what he has got to do. And to make things worst agent smith is back! Yes back from the dead. And more evil than ever

i think this film is great its got the right mix of action and tension. I wouldn’t say that matrix has much comedy but that is a good thing I don’t think it would be as good as it is if it had a lot of comedy in it. Because this is a serious film which I love. Id have to say that reloaded has a lot more tension and action than the last so if you enjoyed number one then get ready for this beauty.

it is a very confusing film it has got a hell of a lot of twists. Now I say a hell of a lot of twists but you wouldn’t believe me until you have seen it. You are there a few days after........then u suddenly think in your head "oh that’s why" it takes quite along time to understand it fully, hell I don’t even think i understand it fully yet. If you don’t like to think a lot and watch it for the action then it is still good.

I thought the third film was a tad disappointing, it wasa bit cringey and looked like it had some kind of overtly Christian message... all this shining light... but the first film was absolutely amazing, one of the few truly groundbreaking films of recent years.

I never thought much of this at all. Its probably because it confused me so much!

Great review, I agree with you! These movies are great, and brilliant value since there watchable over and over again. Shame about what you said about Kill Bill Vol2, I really wanted to see that, and it's predecessor!! Michelle xx
