Now known to everyone by his hacking alias Neo he discovers that there is more to the Matrix then meets the eye! and that his new found friends have special abilities whislt inside.

A visit to an oracle leaves Neo even more confused as he is informed that he has a gift that rivals any of his associates and he may even have the power to dodge bullets! However due to his choice to join the hackers Neo is now being hunted down by the agents who also share the abilites of his friends. Now on a fast paced mission to find out who he is and avoid all contact with the agents this science fiction kung-fu fantasy thriller follows Neo as he discovers the true extent of his powers!
Review:

I first watched the Matrix in the cinema about 8 years ago now and the thing that really stuck in my mind was the special effects which were mind blowing and range from people running along walls to entire walls becoming almost liquid like and allowing objects to pass through them and although these ideas are by no means new the Matrix takes them to a whole new level and makes it all look believable and completely realistic. The sound effects were also really good and added to the realism of this fantasy world being unrolled in front of your eyes and the story is by far of the most original i have seen yet. In places this film can be a little confusing and is definately one you will need to follow from start to finish else you will find yourself thinking you have missed out a large part of it and it will probably make no sense at all, That said it does have enough action throughout most of it to keep your attention although it is a little slow in the middle. I really enjoyed watching this film and over the years have found that it is one that you can watch time and time again either on its own or with its sequels. If you are a fan of either sci-fi, Kung-fu or action movies then this film is a must see for you and the perfect addition to anyones film collection!
