Barbara has been rejected by her cousin, Michael, and enters into a loveless marriage with Dan whose family, the Benshams, have owned the Hall since her father, Squire Mallen, went bankrupt. The widowed Mr. Bensham proposes to Anna Brigmore, fulfilling her ruthless ambition to be mistress of High Banks. But their happiness is soon shattered when they discover that Barbara and Michael have become lovers again. Part 4 in the series.
Advantages: Good plot, excellent graphics and wonderful actors Disadvantages: not good if you are really into romantic stuff (18+ movies)
...Well, where to start? If you havent already seen pirates of the carribean, firstly where have you been for 3 years?, and secondly how did you escape the colony of eskimos that must have been keeping you?
You would also not understand the fuss that is curretn about the NEW pirates of the carribean movie coming out this july! My friends and I have all planned a big day out to go see the premier and we are all going dressed as our favourite characters - I shall be adorning the ''captain barbossa' theme and my best friend peter is going as elizabeth!? Well he insisted he had the best figure for a dress and none of us cared to challenge him.
Basic stroy line of movie - there is a curse upon the crew of the black pearl as they removed some treasure - the dreded curse of cortez. And until all the gold is returned and blood repaid by each...

Advantages: Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp Disadvantages: The wigs involved
...I must admit that this was definately not one of my favourite films. I received the dvd from my parents for Christmas and have only watched it once. I personally think that the film has more of a childrens twist to it, and my 6 year old cousin enjoyed the film MUCH more than I did. So, my point is, why is the certificate on the film a 12? The only advantages I can put on this film is Orlando Bloom is looking as gorgeous as ever, and Johnny Depp's return to the movie world is amazing! I think out of everything on the DVD given to me as a present, I have to give this film a 6 out of 10. I have definately seen better....

...jonny depp has exceeded all expectations in this great pirate film. set in times when pirates ruled the seas this film will keep you glued to your seat with great visual effects and an even better story line.
jonny depp plays the main carachter whome is in search of a pirate ship witch unknown to him has been cursed. A great action packed film which will amaze you with story line and special effects, which will have you watching it again and again.
this film is a must to any collection that you will watch again and again. the dvd is packed with extras and interviews.
If you did not get to see this at the cinema it is a must to buy or rent....
