The santa claus brotherszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

Advantages: Nicely animated.
Disadvantages: Really boring!!!!

Ok, yes i m aware that this is the second review i've done on a christmas film in two days, and no i'm not one of those fruitcakes that puts my tree up in september until march................... ANYWAY!! I want to review The santa claus brothers, dvd. My daughter received this disc as part of her christmas box last year. Having never heard of the film before then, i confess it took me two months to even unwrap it and another momth to even watch it!! The story - Mel, Darryl and Roy are Santas sons and are all 150 years old (in santa years!!) The boys have a lot of growing uo to do, both in maturity and waist lines!!! (two of them are extremely thin!!) The time has come for santa to decide who is going to take over the reins of the big sleigh, buts its becoming clear to him that the triplets are more interested in monkeying ...

Review of The Santa Claus Brothers (Animated) (DVD)

The Santa Clause

Advantages: Tim Allen
Disadvantages: Annoying children

During this Christmas period I have watched a couple of Christmas movies, which is something that I don't normally do. One of these I saw a day or two ago on BBC1, called THE SANTA CLAUSE. This movie was released in 1994 and stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, a father who finds himself literally 'becoming' Santa Claus after Santa comes a cropper on Calvin's roof. The film is quite amusing, but this is largely down to the screen personality of Tim Allen, who I always enjoyed in his television sitcom HOME IMPROVEMENT. In comparison to the other Christmas movie I have seen in the last few days (JINGLE ALL THE WAY), this is by far the better. This is mainly down to the fact that Allen can DO comedy (he began his career as a stand-up comedian) whereas Arnold Schwarzenegger really can't. The special effects in the film are quite good, as ...

Review of The Santa Clause (DVD)

Santa Claus is comin' to town...again!

Advantages: Sweet, nice and christmassy, funny
Disadvantages: Nothing really for me

the impact of its predecessors. However, what this film does have is plenty of Disney Magic, and of course that Christmassy feel which is always going to make it watchable at this time of year! The cast really bring this film together, delivering some great comedy moments and make both me and my fiance laugh quite a few times, no mean feat considering he didn't want to watch this at all! I did enjoy it a lot, and I expect that I'll be adding this to my own Christmas collection very soon, but please go into it with an open mind, and just enjoy! Director: Michael Lembeck. Writers: Ed Decter and John J Strauss Running Time: 98 minutes Certificate: U Amazon Availability: £5.48 Main Cast: Tim Allen ... Santa / Scott Calvin Elizabeth Mitchell ... Mrs. Claus / Carol Eric Lloyd ... Charlie Judge Reinhold ... Neil Miller Wendy Crewson ...
