The best trilogy ever made according to me. The lord of the rings is a fantastic achievement by Peter Jackson, the actors and all the movie crew. This box set gives you a complete set of all the movies in perfect condition. These three action packed films tell the household story of frodo baggins and his quest to mordor to destroy the one ring. The story is fascinating and intersting and has amazing special effects throughout. Peter Jackons own love of midlle creates amazing scenes and landscapes as you are taken on a whirlwind tour of middle earth. With exotic filimng locations in New Zealand these movies are beautiful. Also With prices as low as £11.33 you can't go wrong, with 'The Return of THe King' being in the top 10 movies of all time by IMDB.
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING

The first movie tells the tale of the fellowship of the ring.The one ring belonging to Sauron is descovered and a fellowship is made to destroy the ring in the fires of mordor.
Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gandlaf and Boromir make up the fellowship of the ring, with frodo as the ring bearer. They travel across middle earth and through a spectacular fight in the mines of moria, when gandalf is taken by a balrog. The fellowship carry on to the forest of Lothlorien the home of the elves Frodo is given a frightening vision as to what would happen if he fails to destroy the ring. As they leave the woods, the traitor Saruman sets a group of Uruk Hai to track the fellowship. Boromir tries to force the ring from frodo to use it against sauron but frodo dissapears by wearing the ring. Frodo is burdened by the ring and tries to give it to Aragorn to keep but just then they are ambushed by the uruk hai. Frodo leaves and aragorn amazingly takes on the uruk hai single handedly. Legolas and gimli arrive to help him and there is a great fight scene. Meanwhile Boromir is on his own protecting Merry and Pippin and is getting overcome. He fight bravely and gets struck by 3 arrows but continues to fight. Aragorn comes to save the day but Boromir dies and Merry and Pippin and kidnapped by the Uruks. The fellowship is split as Frodo and Sam leave to destroy the ring and Legolas, Aragorn and Gimli track the Uruks to get Merry and Pippin.
This is a great start to an amazing trilogy. If anyone can capture the magic of middle earth from book to movie it's Peter Jackson.
