The great films which are lord of the rings are available in a trilogy set at an affordable price.
The storyline is about a hobbit (small person) called Frodo embarks on a daunting and epic mission to destroy the legendary one ring. This ring is the ring of evil and can turn good men into evil beings and is the most longed after thing in the whole of middle earth. But the ring is wanting to go back to its creator Lord Sauron. And if this happens the Midlle earth is doomed. On the first movie ("Fellowship of the ring") it introduces the characters and the story behind the ring and how it became. Its in this movie where Frodo sarts his journey to destroy the ring right where it was created Gondor and the fires of mount doom. He is accomapanied by 3 courageous friends and is guided by Gandolf the wizard who is just a magical character. in this first movie you leasrn more about the ring and its powers and Frodo is hunted down by servants of lord Sauron, by ghost riders on black horses (truly amazing and scary characters). On this 1st DVD follo the start of Frodo s journey. On second movie (The 2 towers) the quest to destroy the ring continues. Frodo and his companion (sam) must entrust their lives to a creature called Golum to find their way to gondor. But as the fellowship of frodo and his friends is seperated and they are being approached by Sarumans armies THE WAR OF THE RING HAS BEGUN. This is the last film. This is the final battle for middle earth. Frodo and Sam continue their dangerous journey towards thee fires of Mount Doom to destroy the ring. This is the final battle for middle earth and WILL FRODO DESTROY THE RING IN TIME TO SAVE MIDDLE EARTH?
Theres alot of well known actors like Elijah Woods, Ian Mkellan, Liv Tyler, Christopher Lee, Orlando Bloom and many more.
VERDICT These are the best films (well its like one big film) i have ever seen. There is so many twist and turns and questions which are answered. The actors are brilliant. The special effects are out of this world. And the storyline is OUTSTANDING. After watching the first film you will want to watch the next one then the next one becasuse you are so captivated by it. The only downer is the last film you are so anxious to find out what happens it seems to drag on but still BRILLIANT.
