Advantages: Everything--virtually perfect in every way Disadvantages: it had to end :(
...guess a good place is the beginning. Providing you have at least a 28inch TV with even the most basic surround sound system in your home you will still see, hear and feel the size of this trilogy.
The battle scenes are incredible especially in the Return of the King and the acting is amazing. The cast selection is excellant ... ...to start with but by the 2nd part of the trilogy he settled into the role.
There are many famous faces in this series, Sean Bean, Liv Tyler, Orlando Bloom amongst them.
The story is of a world now at relative peace but historically it had been a world at war and a battle between good and evil. The evil warlord had ruled using a magic ring but was eventually slayed in a huge battle many generations before our story starts but his ring survived.
