The Story tells of Frodo's how frodo gets the ring and the travels he begins to take from leaving the shire to starting his trip to mordor with the other members of the fellowship.
I waited for a long time for this film and it does not disapoint the special effects are not overused the sound is amazing at times and the acting and story and both well up to standard. Being a mssive fan of the books i was concerend how it would transpose over to film but peter jackson ahs done a superb job with in my opinion all the key bits being there but not to much detail to make the film to long. Don't get me wrong thsi film is far from short and will eat into your evening considarbly. An amazing start to what is an amazing set of films.
disc 1 and 2 consist of the film itsself with
Dolby Digital EX 5.1 Surround Sound DTS ES 6.1 Surround Sound and commentarys by the cast production team and director.
Disc 3 & 4 Consist of the extras of the film these include
documentarys covering the adapting the book to a screenplay, bulding the sets, costumes armour, Picture slideshows and a large number of post production documentarys of editing right up untill release of the film
