I have always loved this film. I have watched it every year as I've grown up, and although I do enjoy the Rick Moranis remake, I do adore this version. Steve Martin is brilliant in the newer one, but Jack Nicholson rivals him for comedy performance in the original. Behind the comedic plot of a giant-talking-man-eating plant that needs more meat as it grows bigger and bigger, the story is rather sad, as poor Seymour tries his best to satisy Audrey ll (the plant) and the girl of his dreams Audrey. A few laughs are definate with this film. As a rule I dont like black and white films, but when I watch this film I dont even notice it. This film is a MUST see, as much as any other classic film.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
