Overview ------------ The little mermaid is a timeless classic and one of my favourite Disney movies. . It has everything, romance, family heartache, friendship and adventure. This DVD is for the whole family. This is a girly disney movie at its best, no girl can grow up without watching it. I must have seen it 100+ times!
Characters -------------- Sebastian is a lobster and works for Ariels fathers he has some really funny moments and the best song ever - under the sea!. The loyal Flounder is Ariels best friend and helps her whenever he can. The seawitch is very cunning and evil woman, a classic Disney baddie.
Plot ----- Ariel is a headstrong teenage mermaid who loves all things human and wants to be part of the human world. Ariel rescues a man from the sea and falls in love. He is a human prince and falls in love with her too. Ariel makes a deal with the horrible Sea Witch to win the prince's love.
Overall ----------- Must-own film. You can buy this DVD for just a few pounds now. It is much better in DVD format that the original video - but prehaps mine was just worn out from overuse!

Advantages: The characters, the songs, the score... Disadvantages: Disney price their DVD so high, it's a wonder anyone with children has any money left
