Advantages: A classic film noir Disadvantages: Totally forgetable
relatively bland and uneventful and annoyingly about 4 volume notches up from the movies score meaning you need to keep adjusting the volume up and down.
'The Art Of Seduction': an exclusive new documentary about making the film with Linda Fiorentino, Peter Berg, Bill Pullman, director John Dahl and writer Steve Barancik - A kind of reflection of the movie, looking back on the films 10thanniversary at the effect it had on similar cinema as well as why the movie still has the same impact it did at the time of release.
Booklet written by Dr Linda Ruth Williams, author of "The Erotic Thriller in Contemporary Society" - Sadly this was missing from my DVD so I cannot comment on this.
An episode from TV series "Fallen Angels" - entitled "Tomorrow I Die" - starring Kim Coates, Heather Graham and Bill Pullman

Advantages: Remastered, plenty of extra's Disadvantages: n/a
This latest repackage of the classic Stephen Spielberg film is a must for its fans. The film itself is untouched other than being digitally remastered but the extras are well worth the money for the disc.
A 50 minute documentary "The Making of Jaws" is an interesting insight into the problems during production, i.e., the Technicians strike and the creature not working. There is also talk of a scene that was deemed too violent at the time but which would make it into a certificate 12 film today.
Included also are the obligatory deleted scenes, outtakes, cast & filmaker notes and trailers. There are 720 photos which were taken during filming plus the production notes which are detailed as follows:
1) Story Board and Drawings
2) Production Photo
3) Marketing Material
4) The Jaws phenomenon

On Saturday 25th April 2009 I attended the LastLaugh Comedy Club at Sheffield's City hall as part of a birthday celebration for a couple of friends. It was my first visit to this show but due to its popularity it is necessary to book tickets well in advance so having had the tickets since the beginning of the year it was something that I had been looking forward to.
The Comedy Club takes place every Friday and Saturday night. It is held in the Memorial Hall, which has a seating capacity for 500 people and invariably always sells out. The acts are usually only announced a few weeks in advance so most people book tickets before the acts have been announced because usually by the time the acts are confirmed there are no tickets left. The acts are not major national names that you will have seen on TV but they are established stand up ...

DVD Description
One of the most brilliant of all German Expressionist silent films, Murnau's THE LAST LAUGH uses a constantly moving and subjective camera to capture the emotional anguish of a man whose life is suddenly devoid of meaning. Because of his age, an elderly doorman at a hotel finds himself ignominiously demoted to washroom attendant. Particularly galling to the poor man is the loss of his uniform, which gives him pride and prestige. Crestfallen, he spends the day wandering the city, getting drunk and dreaming of suicide, mourning the loss of his dignity, and trying desperately to hang on to a shred of hope.
