Advantages: Quite gripping Disadvantages: Possibly needed more action
...A brilliant original storyline which is becoming more and more rare these days. Nicholas Cage was great as usual. Generally quite a good cast.
I was a bit worried at the start when I realised it was another film about the KnightsTemplar and the Masons but I think it worked.
I found National Treasure quite gripping and I found that all of the way through the film you want to know whats going to happen next. I suppose the story is almost like an historic conspiracy theory come true.
I think it would be fair to say that this film had something for everyone although I think the film could have benefited with a bit more action that may have pushed the rating up.
Good film, watch it!...

The guy who was bankrolling him turns out to be a crook and says that they should steal it. Nicolas Cage...

Advantages: pretty faithful to the original Dan Brown book, keeps your attention, nice locations Disadvantages: maybe a bit long
...shaving Langton comes up with something else. And leads the viewer back to the Louvre. Only negative for me: The movie does drag on a bit. But after you've seen it one time you'll probably want to watch it over again as so many little facts are thrown in relating to Christianity, the holy grail, the Knightstemplar, etc....
