The Kinks Live In Concert (RESCHEDULED) (DVD)

Advantages: Musicians were outstanding
Disadvantages: Singer wasn't amazing.

...Well wat can i say about this one i think that the world tour and this DVD has been eagerly awaited by many fans. I think that Death on The Road is not the best but still a bloody good live DVD. As usual the guitarist wowed me with their stunning complex solo's being a guitarist myself i can see how they are absolutly amazing and never made one mistake. A truely amazing performance yet again i think that the only let down was bruce dikinsons singing as after watching Rock n' Rio so many times i was expecting the works. I think the guitarists, drummer and bassist really did impress but singing was bad at some points in the show. It was like he had forgoton the words. Still don't let that put you off still a great DVD to watch only a few bad points with the singing but the rest was good. The track list for the show was, 1. Wildest... Read review

Disadvantages: Some sound quality.

...If you like Rush you'll love this! Rush in Rio shows the final dates on their sold out Vapor Trails tour from 2002 in Brazil. See the lads play in front of 60,000 fans in San Paulo and 40,000 at Porto Allegre. The concerts are huge the fans noisy and loving every minute of Rush on stage. The only drawback is some of the sound quality in between songs is too loud as it is just the crowd, but what the hell it's a live rock show! All of the classics are there from "Working Man" from the 1974 self titled "Rush" to up to minute tracks such as "One Little Victory" from the 2002 Vapor Trails album. All in all 28 songs from the Canadian rock Gods! The discs are playable in Dolby 5.1 or 2.0 Dolby stereo, whichever is your choice. 2 discs double the fun, disc 2 has quite a tidy little behind the scenes following Rush and their prep... Advantages: Full Concert Performance of Dark Side of the Moon....
Disadvantages: Took almost 12 Years to be released....

...it should certainly be taken... Its a full audio / visual performance of the classic " Dark Side of the Moon " which is probably one of the most famous albums of all time, so you are shown exactly what this is like live in Concert, complete with all the special effects that come with it, and I do believe this is the first time that you will have seen this on DVD officially..... Track Listing..... Speak to Me Breathe in the Air On the Run Time The Great Gig in the Sky Money Us and Them Any Colour you Like Brain Damage Eclipse So after that wonderful complete performance, we are then treated to the usual Floyd " anthems " to finish off the show, with all the stage lights blazing which are...
