In this film John Barrymore pokes fun at himself as Carole Lombard proves to be his equal. Director Howard Hawks provides the film with rapid-fire jokes and arguments for this screwball comedy with excellent supporting performances by Walter Connolly and Roscoe Karns. ...The wedding singer starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore is a comedy set in the 1980’s about people desperate to get married and the path of true love never running smooth. Adam Sandler is the wedding singer who gets dumped at the alter. He falls in love with Drew Barrymore who is due to marry this real twat, who cheats on her loads. This enrages Sandler and just hasn’t got the guts to tell Drew Barrymore how he feels about her. This is laugh a minute stuff and with a cheesey soundtrack, you just can’t go wrong.... Read review
