I use to watch the Herbie films when I was really young and loved them. Getting older I have not grown out of this!

Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo - This is my favourite of them all! Herbie\'s Monte Carlo Race gets mixed up with a jewel robbery and love! It\'s a tale of adventure, danger, action, love and all during the Mote Carlo Race.
Herbie Goes Bananas - This is my least favourite. Herbie has been given to Jim Douglas\' nephew Pete. They discover they have a race car in Herbie and are goin to take him to Rio on a boat but Herbie steals a child on board and then gets dropped into the sea for punnisment. Will he survive in time to save the villians from stealing the gold and killing Pacco?
These DVDs are fun for all the family and you cannot be bored by them. Somewhere in everyone there is a wish that their car was a little more like Herbie. With this boxset you can see him whenever you want!

A limited edition collection featuring 'The Love Bug' in which Herbie, the VW super-car, saves the day for a fading racing driver and leads him to victory and romance, 'Herbie Rides Again' in which Herbie the loveable VW protects Grandma against an evil property tycoon and in the process turns a baddie into a goodie, 'Herbie Goes To Monte Carlo' The loveable VW Beetle is entered for a road race from Paris to Monte Carlo. He falls in love, gets involved in a robbery and still manages to win! and 'Herbie Goes Bananas' disorder south of the border when Herbie the almost human Volkswagen meets Paco the pickpocket.

In the first movie THE LOVE BUG he saves the day for a fading racing car driver David Tomlinson and leads him to victory and romance. The stunts are enhanced by excellent special effects. In the sequel HERBIES RIDES AGAIN the extraordinarily personable and powerful VW Bug help elderly Helen Hayes save her property from an evil property tycoon who wants to erect a giant skyscraper. HERBIE GOES TO MONTE CARLO in the next movie after an international spy ring hides a priceless gem in his fuel tank. The exciting fast-paced race is on. And to further complicate matters, Herbie falls in love with a sleek, sporty lady Lancia. In the final movie HERBIE GOES BANANAS in Rio de Janeiro where he takes part in the celebrated Grande Premio racing competition. There Herbie and his owners get sidetracked by a smuggling syndicate, pestered by a street-wise pickpocket, and even lock horns with a raging bull!
