Advantages: No need for a karaoke machine; great tracks; easy use; family fun Disadvantages: Minimalist graphics
of the DVD is that while vocals are only heard where backing vocals are sung on the original tracks, an instrument that sounds rather like a xylophone discretely plays along with the melody of what the lead should be singing in case we have forgotten the tune. This also ensures that even the tracks on here that we have never heard can be learned (while guaranteeing a few laughs).
The main drawback are the minimalist background graphics which consist of a slideshow of images of the main artist and general scenes from the 60's. While we have some great shots of Elvis in his prime, I can't help feeling I could have done better using Power Point. In addition, the lyrics do not light up as they are meant to be sung but appear as subtitles that change with each slide. Still, in my experience many karaoke CDGs on machines - or videos on those ...
Advantages: great to practice singing or for parties! Disadvantages: Might not be popular with the nieghbours!
Karaoke is great fun for all and this Karaoke CD is great for any party or you could use it as a backing track for an audition.
The good thing about this CD is that it has a mixture of classic songs from 2001 and if you don't know the words, know need to panic as it comes with all the lyrics!
Here is a song list and bit of information about each group and singer! I have tried to provide with as much as I can, hopefully this will help you get a sense of the songs available on the CD.
1.Pure & Simple: This song is a cheesy pop song! Great for a group number! Group: By Hear Say the pop group formed from the first ever Pop Stars TV programme, the group was made up of Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Myleene Klass, Danny Foster And Noel Suluvian. The band has since spilt but this is still a classic pop song! Kym Marsh has since ...
Advantages: Everything you could want in a TV show Disadvantages: None
To try and put the greatest hits of The Simpsons onto one disc is foolhardy. There are so many classic, touching, hilarious episodes people love that if they did do a greatest hits package it would be so long that it wouldn't be able to fit on anyone's shelves, that is the quality of this show.
So this DVD, part of "The Simpsons Classics", contains 4 episodes, each accredited with some sort of landmark. We have "Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire", which was the very first episode and deals with Homer not getting his Christmas bonus, but in the end gets something much better. There's the 100th episode "Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baddasssss Song" where Bart gets Principal Skinner when he brings Santa's Little Helper into school for show and tell day. There's also "Bart Gets an F" which had the highest ever ratings in America for a Simpsons ...
