DVD Description
When American millionaire Charles Delacro (Robert Mitchum) stumbles into the private quarters of Victor (Cary Grant) and Hilary (Deborah Kerr), an English aristocratic couple who allow public tours through their stately mansion, he brings a whirlwind of trouble with him. Hilary's dissatisfaction with her staid life plus verbal sparring with Charles about Anglo-American differences spark a romance between the two, easily perceived by Hilary's husband, Victor. When Hilary goes to London to meet Charles secretly, an old flame of Victor's visits to give him advice on his disintegrating marriage and to perhaps seduce him too. Victor's solution? Invite his wife's lover up for the weekend to engage in some fishing and a duel. Woven together with a wide streak of humour is a wonderful, surprisingly rich and blunt scrutiny of marital troubles and endurance.
Advantages: fast moving drama - and a great storyline Disadvantages: none in my eyes

...one of the best films i have seen for a long time.
gripping from start to finish.
a story of war and freindship the anguish of one mans will to survive.
starring sam waterson and dr haing ngor.
and music by mike oldfield.
very good sound quality too.
set in war torn cambodia.
a beatiful place shattered by revolution.
this is the story of one mans determination to tell the truth.
whatever the cost.
and of another mans will and determination to survive.
but both would never forget what they saw. what they felt.
and what they experianced in THE KILLING FIELDS.
quote: in the water wells the bodies were like soup bones in broth
and you could allways tell the killing grounds because the
grass grew taller and greener were the bodies were buried.
i see in his eyes what must be in mine-a certainty that we are to be executed.
fantastic film...

...Is chicken run really what its made out to be?
Totally!
Imagine being a chicken, kept in the chicken run, with ambitions to fly free and be happy, with no quotas to keep. Then one day a flying cock falls in. Soon the lead girly chicken falls for the flying cock, and enlists him in their never ending quest to find greenergrass. Throw in humour, comedy, sadness, and some adorable rats, and what you have is chicken run.
This film is enjoyable by adults and kids alike. Well made, fun, lots of happy and sad moments. Nick Park is going to go further than he could have imagined since his morph days.
Go out for the day with the family, and make sure you catch a showing of this if you havent already....
