Backto the Future in a science fiction adventure made in 1985 directed by Robert Zemeckis (who also directed Forrest Gump) and stars Michael J. Fix and Christopher Lloyd.
Marty McFly (Fox) is an ordinary 17yr old, except for one thing; he has a rather eccentric friend, Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown (Lloyd). When he arrives he is met by Doc, who shows him a modified DeLorean car which he says has been made into a time machine. It uses Plutonium to create a nuclear reaction that to generate the power needed to travel through time, and this will only happen once the car reaches 88 miles an hour. Doc shows Marty the time circuits and programs in 1955. Suddenly Libyan terrorists arrive, looking for their Plutonium. They kill Doc, so Marty jumps ...
