I have to admit to being loathe to try books that get high critical praise.
I don't mean reviews on this website - I find readers reviews to be very interesting and I have read many a book from reader's recommendations and reviews. But so often in the past books that have been highly praised by the 'professional critic' have often left me very disappointed.
With this book I had heard much praise but somehow kept putting off reading it.
As you will gather from the fact that I am now writing a review on the book, I DID read it, and after a slow start I found it to be one of those compelling books that you can't put down.

Advantages: excellent story and characters, gripping! Disadvantages: Financial stuff is a tad confusing

That you couldn't wait to have a moment to yourself so that you could curl up and read about what happened next?
Mine happened in the last week and a half whilst reading this book by author Stieg Larsson. Whilst browsing on "Lovereading.com" I saw reviews of this book and I was intrigued.

Sadly, Larsson died young and suddenly of a heart attack in 2004.

Advantages: Good and compiling thriller Disadvantages: Many characters mentioned in story, may confuse you
to the book as the serial killers who target women are the focus of the book. The English title actually describes Lisbeth as she is the one with the dragontattoo!!
The English translated version of the next two books in the trilogy will be coming out soon. I can?t wait for the next two fiction of the series. I bet this time round, the story will be focused around Lisbeth, kind of like the switch in the focus from this book. ...
