This film has two major problems, it is at times rather derivative and of course it is a re-make/spin off from a television series from the 1960\'s which instantly makes it more difficult to stand out because you are well aware that it lacks originality of its own. Problems aside.. Harrison Ford comes up with a near perfect performance as Dr Kimble, a surgeon wrongly accused of his wifes murder and becoming a rather unlikely fugitive of the law, hotly chased by US Marshal, Samuel Gerard played by Tommy Lee Jones. This thriller is played out at an exhilirating pace and is filled with twists and turns to keep you watching again and again. The DVD itself is unspectacular, but if you are simply focussed on the film itself, then you will struggle to find a better thriller from the 1990's. One of Fords best.
