Has anybody else had emails come from ciao saying you have contacted them because you can't log in? Just wondering if somebody is trying to hack into the accounts as I know I certainly didn't contact ciao about logging in! Hmmm...

This is such a great Disney film once again that involves animals as so do many of the Disney films with this one being about a fox and a hound who become unlikely friends. This was the 24th Disney animated film and was released back in 1981.
The story: This Disney classic follows the friendship of a fox named Tod and a hound named Copper and how they become friends sharing little adventures together and playing in the woods. However as they get older Copper's owner needs him to become the hunting dog that he is and so Tod becomes what he should be hunting. Will their friendship survive?
The cast: Quite a few voices as there are different voices for the young and adult Copper and Tod. The main characters are listed below - Young Tod - Keith Coogan Young Copper - Corey Feldman Adult Tod - Mickey Rooney Adult Copper - Kurt Russell Big Mama - Pearl Bailey Chief - Pat Buttram Hunter - Jack Albertson Widow Tweed - Jeanette Nolan
Really quite a famous set of voices here with Mickey Rooney who also did the voice for one of the characters in another Disney Film, Pete's Dragon. Obviously the pretty famous Kurt Russell providing the voice for adult Copper, along with Corey Feldman as the young Copper. This is the first classic Disney film I've come across where so many well known names do the voices. The more modern and up to date films have many famous voices but, as I say this is unusual for the older animated films.
Extras: My DVD being a new re-released one has quite a few extras which are listed below -
Forest friendship game DVD storybook: New best friends The fox and the hound art gallery Passing the baton: The making of the fox and the hound Lambert the sheepish lion Lend a paw The best of friends sing along song The Lambert the sheepish lion and Lend a paw are both short cartoons which I think are quite good but, I always do like the original type Disney cartoons!
Overall opinion: I hadn't actually seen this particular Disney film until fairly recently when I was given it as a gift in a double box set along with The Aristocats (which I also hadn't seen up until then!). My husband was surprised I hadn't really since it has a dog in it as one of the main characters and so thought I would have watched it when I was younger but, I have to say I am glad I hadn't seen it until now as I personally think I would have been very upset as a young child watching this! Don't get me wrong it's a lovely film in terms of the cute Disney characters, especially Copper as a young puppy where he does some really cute stuff but, there is one scene that even now I found quite upsetting and I imagine if a small child watched this they would be upset too! I will say though that the film is good and definitely another to add to the classic Disney list. If you like the Disney films and haven't seen this then I would recommend it especially for those of you that love your animals as this is great as the dog Copper is just so cute and Tod is so mischievous!
As I mentioned I got my DVD in a pack of two with The Aristocats included - this cost £19.99 so not too bad but I would shop around on the net and the high street to find the best deal.
