Advantages: Intimate and knowledgable Disadvantages: Some meaningless asides
...Julien Temple’s first documentary about The Sex Pistols, The Great Rock and Roll Swindle, often gets criticised for its bias towards Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren’s version of events and for the fact that it didn’t include John Lydon’s input at all. The Filth and the Fury was much better-received, giving all the band members as well as McLaren time to tell their own stories. If anything, it’s biased more towards Lydon’s point of view – or at least, he makes more convincing arguments in his inimical sneering style.
The film sets the scene of lower-class life in the UK in the 70s, showing a grim world of repression, boredom and grime, then charts The Sex Pistols’ rise to infamy, feuds and eventual break-up, interspersing interviews and live clips (though I’m thinking not live sound recordings, most of the time) with clips of Richard III...

DVD Description
Julien Temple's second documentary profiling punk rock pioneers the Sex Pistols is an enlightening, entertaining trip back to a time when the punk movement was just discovering itself. Featuring archival footage, never-before-seen performances, rehearsals, and recording sessions as well as interviews with group members who lived to tell the tale--including the one and only John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten)-- THE FILTH AND THE FURY is a relevant viewing experience for those unfamiliar with the band; for fans, it's mandatory viewing.

Advantages: pretty good martial arts Disadvantages: it lacks Bruce Lee's, choreography
...Brother of Chen Chen (Bruce Lee), Chen Shan (Bruce Li) sets out to get revenge for death of his brother. As in Fist of Fury it is all about the Chinese against the Japanese. This film is made in similar style to Game of death 2 as in there is more fighting than anything else. In Fist of Fury 2 Bruce Lee had already been killed before the film started. In fact he was killed at the end of Fist of Fury by the Japanese council. Just as Bruce Lee avenged the death of his teacher, Bruce Li avenges the death of his brother. The film is literally non-stop action from beginning to the end. The fight scenes are on average longer than in Fist of Fury and the last fight with the samurai is more dramatic but Bruce Lee fights better.
Ps
Ignore ‘weak’ for special effects, there are not any....

Advantages: great film for cradle of filth fans/gore fans Disadvantages: not for the faint hearted!(or cat fans)
...ive had this in my collection for some time now and it never dissapoints me.its what i would call a b-movie and is a must for fans of cradle of filth! this is a story of serial killer and deranged hypnotist kemper, who is locked away in an asylum,of course the lead role of "the man"(kempers satanic servant) is played by dani filth (lead singer of the band cradle of filth)watch through blood soaked lenses as kemper shows the world that even though hes locked away the padded walls of his cell are not enough to contain this pure evil.as he reeks revenge on the world, his servant under his control is on a murder spree leaving a trail of blood, guts and gore, for the dectective(with mental issues of his own) to try and follow.this is very shocking brutal and sickening, and a great film to watch(if your a gore fan, cradle fan or maybe just...
