A film directed by Justin Linand written by Chris Morgan which was released in Summer 2006.
Rated a PG for reckless and illegal behavior involving teens, violence, language and sexual content.
This film runs for 104 minuetes which is not to long and enough time to have a really good story line
The sequel to Fast and Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious, al these films are about illegal streetracing and the car scene.
The Fast And The Furious - Tokyo Drift is about a 17year old lad (Shaun) whos into cars, he gets into quite a lot of trouble everywhere he lives and him and his mother have to keep leaving town to stop Shaun from getting into more trouble. He ends up in a race with a rich lad and his girlfriend and ends up back facing leaving yet another town, his mother doesn't want to keep moving so sends him away to Tokyo to live with his dad..
This is where Shaun discovers the Tokyo car scene of drifting, he soon realises this is nothing like racing back home and needs teaching how to drift, after lots of hard work and tyres he starts learning to get there, while making new friends in his new town.
He also meets DK (Drift King) and his aim it to be as good as him and beat him in a drift match.
Thats just a bit about it for the rest you'll have to watch it.
The film is lacking in actors Paul Walker and Vin Diesel from the previous films, and i don't think it really deserves the name of The Fast And The Furious as unlike 2 Fast 2 Furious it does not carry along on the same story lines.
Still it is an exciting action packed film, with lots of cool modified fast cars made to be the best for drifing, it has a good story line which keeps you watching all the way through.
I would definately recommend it to anyone into fast and modified cars.

Don't think the 2nd or 3rd Fast and Furious film could compare to the first one, nice review

This has been posted in the category for the HD DVD, but mentions nothing about the new HD format. Given that this has been posted in this specialised category, I would like to know about the quality of the new format.
