Wooooaaahhhh this isnt a film - this is an advert. But one hell of an advert! and for products out of most people's price range. I am referring to cars. Cars driven at maximum speeds in (fast and furious...) races. '10 second cars' feature heavily with rich, rough looking guys buying cars to smash up their insides in heart-pounding 10 second races. Chased by the FBI because of possible crimes, they seem to be addicted to racing - knowing they are in danger of arrest yet desperate to get a race in b4 the cops get there.
The storyline leaves much to be spoken for. However, as I have already said, this is no normal film!!! take it for what it is, not for what other films are. It is interesting playing the kind of guessing game as you watch whereby you try and figure out who the baddie is, but thats just a little side effect to the MAMMOTH CARS!! they are just so beautiful!
'Gone in 60 seconds', in my opinion, was absolutely brilliant. I held my breath throughout its entire length and gasped at appropriately yummy looking cars. mmmmm...... it too though was let down by a poor story. but that doesnt stop me loving either one. If you didnt like gone in 60 seconds though, this is slightly more plausable so you might enjoy it a tad bit more.
Watch out for the ending though, its a bit quiet. So when it seems like the last car chase, enjoy it while you can so that your'e not disappointed by the ending. This film isnt gonna stay with you for ages but it will let your body empty its supply of adrenaline and everyone who watches it will soon be wandering into expensive car garages, addicted to cars. mmm........
ciao member "flashpointz" said that its not a date movie - i'd say oh yes it is!!! get each other excited! my girlfriend was wowed by it and you simply share the adrenaline rush!
However, it does make me wonder - by putting beautiful cars onto a wierd track and racing them at night - anyone could create a stunner of a film.
Ah well! Only need some money for it now! About a million? Per day of filming? sounds about right to me. :-D

Advantages: Plenty of action, nice effects, Vin Diesel, no need to think too hard. Disadvantages: Not really any, unless you're expecting something that it's not.
