Advantages: Well acted, Great Book Adaptation Storylines, Fun for All Ages Disadvantages: Each Movie is About Three Hours Long
she doesn't even realize and that just adds to the intensity of the story and film.
I have to say this first movie in the trilogy is my favourite. Matthew and Marilla are wonderful characters and the actor and actress protraying them give standout performances. Megan Fellows, who plays Anne, is only 15 when filming this and it's amazing how she can transform from a 12 yr old young looking girl to a 16 yr old in front of your eyes. Gilbert ( her enemy, friend, love-interest), and her relationship is convuluted, yet in a good way. You are shown how different and similar they are at the same time and you are eager to find out what their relationship could turn into.

Advantages: Good filming. Good Kiwi ingenuity. Good story. Excellent adaptation. Disadvantages: Possibly a bit too long for those unaccustomed to LOTR.
The boxset is awesome. Not only does it contain the three films: The Fellowship of the Rings, The Two Towers and the Return of the King; it also contains many extra DVDs displaying extra information and scenes of the film. All of this is presented in a well presented and designed boxset with good graphics and text. My experience with wathcing the films is amazing. I have seen the films and I have been to New Zealand to see the filming locations which were awesome.
For any body who has read The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy this is the ideal gift for any time of the year. These films dserve their success due to pure kiwi ingenuity. ...
The scariest film since the EXORCIST (In reference to THE EYE) (Uncut, 31/08/2006)
DVD Description
From Oxide and Danny Pang, the Thai filmmaking siblings behind BAGKOK DANGEROUS, comes this trilogy of terrifyingly original films. Each of the films is unrelated in all but a supernatural theme. In THE EYE, a young blind woman is plagued by disturbing visions after undergoing a pioneering cornea transplant. THE EYE II centres on a young woman who is revived after an attempted overdose. Upon recovering, the woman discovers that not only is she carrying a child, but is now being stalked by strangers. THE EYE INFINITY rounds out the trilogy and is the story of a group of friends who evoke a spirit, using a mysterious book.
