Rudolph Valentino stars as Vladimir Dubrovsky, a young Russian Cossack officer who rejects the Czarina's (Louise Dresser) amorous attention and is promptly branded a deserter in this silent tale of love and revenge. On the eve of his dismissal he learns of his father's ruin--his father had sent a letter pleading for the Czarina's aid against Kyrilla (James Marcus), a gluttonous and treacherous neighbor who has stolen the family's estate. Sentenced to death with a reward on his head for shunning the lusty Czarina, Vladimir escapes into the countryside and becomes the Black Eagle, a dashing masked vigilante who seeks to avenge the death of his father. As he nears his goal, his mission is complicated when he falls in love with Mascha Troekouroff (Vilma Banky), Kyrilla's daughter. In order to infiltrate Mascha's house and seek his ultimate revenge on her father, he dons another disguise, forsaking his mask for the identity of Maurice Le Tournier, Mascha's debonair French tutor. What follows is a witty combination of parlor romance and farce as Vladimir attempts to win Mascha's affections while plotting Kyrilla's destruction. Valentino delivers a charismatic and seductive performance in this full-scale romantic adventure that shines with early Hollywood's technical advancements and stylish production values. Based on DUBROVSKY by Alexander Pushkin.
Advantages: Good entertainment, decent performances, perfect brainless fun. Disadvantages: Parts of the film stretch credibility. Disappointing ending.
...INTRODUCTION
For a relatively new kid on the block, Shia LeBeouf seems to be cropping up in a fair few films these days. First he was being mothered by Carrie-Ann Moss in Disturbia, then hanging out with a bunch of robots and Megan Fox in Transformers, after which he was swanning about with aliens and that creaky old bloke with the whip and Fedora in the latest Indy instalment, and now he gets to spend a whole film in close proximity to Michelle Monaghan. Some guys get all the luck. I want his job. I was in the DVD store, casting about for a decent actioner to take home for the extended family to watch (my in-laws have a projector and I was looking for ?big screen? material for movie night) when Eagle Eye caught my attention. I don?t usually rent films without knowing anything about them, but the cover blurb was intriguing...

Advantages: Pretty much Silent Disadvantages: Low air flow, may need several fans
...Sharkoon SilentEagle 1000 Case fan.
A innovative brand that uses the golf ball effect dimples to reduce noise and yet keep air flow at a reasonable rate.
The SilentEagle is quite a expensive fan, as fans go. At around £5 a fan you do get your moneys worth in terms of quality and silence.
The 2 fans which I brought have drastic reduced the noise my computer now emits. The only sound that I can now hear is my CPU fan whirring around.
Despite the low air flow that these fans give (Less that half a normal fan, not to mention cheaper alternative) they are still very useful. These fans would make a excellent addition to a Multimedia PC or a Media Center PC.
Rubber Bolts supplied with this product further help reduce noise emitions. However they do come with standard screws if you wish to mount them conventionally.

Advantages: Hell finally did freeze over thank God! Disadvantages: None
...It was the biggest question for years, will they or wont they?Im truly glad they finally did get back together and they did it with a bang.
The dvd begins with short interviews with the band members, who were excited but very tense at the prospect of performing live again after so long. There were so many things to be rehearsed,They had an orchestra that were not quite getting the drift on one song which didnt help the overall atmosphere, plus when they rehearsed their harmonies, even though they sounded amazing, they werent up to The Eagles standards.
They had a lot of brand new material which would be heard for the first time and all this just added and added to the ever increasing tension that could be seen on each of their faces before they took to the stage, with Don Henley appearing the most tense of all.
When they took to...
