Advantages: Very funny Disadvantages: slightly weird
...This film is hilarious if you like that sort of cult comedy. The funniest bits are when he says his funny catchphrases like gosh and you friggin idiot. This film is a must see and you can buy it for about 4 pounds on ebay. The funniest thing about him is he has a dull expression on him all the time. He has this friend called pedro who is the new kid and they try funny things to get a prom date. His dances that his does near the end are comical and his weird brother has that funny accent makes the film even better. The school bully who picks on him napoleon always does something weak back. Pedros cousins the cool hooked up guys add comedy to the film.

Napooleon really disliked Uncle Rico for "ruining his life" by giving him an awful reputation in school and with Deb, one of his friends. His friend Pedro is running for school president, but being one of the most unpopular...

...saw this at the cinema ages ago so finally bought the DVD from HMV for £9.99.
Jon Heder stars as the legend that is Napoleon Dynamite, directed by Jared Hess. Napoleon is a high school oddball who spends all of his time playing tetherball, eating 'tots' and sketching pictures of an animal called the 'liger' (a lion/tiger hybrid). Living with his nerd big brother Kip (Aaron Ruell) and wannabe gigolo Uncle Rico (Jon Gries), Napoleon is a bit of an outcast in his small middle America hometown, Preston Idaho.
One day a new student called Pedro (Efren Ramirez) arrives and the two strike a friendship and end up taking on the high school establishment.
NAPOLEON DYNAMITE is a fantastic story with great underplayed acting. The awkwardness and cruelty of high school is depicted well without falling down the usuall sickly all American...
