I really enjoyed this film but wouldnt nessisarily class it as horror, i would say that it wasnt scary but gory. The idea of the situations are scary and those who do not like scenes of a very violent nature or blood and guts will not enjoy this film as it doesnt make you jump but their is lots of violence.
The film is about a killer family who seek money, love, and revenge very similar to natural born killers but much more modern and i would say more exciting.
The acting isnt fantastic and i dont think i knew any of the actors, but the characters were clever and the storyline very much made up for any poor acting. The setting was remote and camera angles were clever and made the film very interesting.
I was dissappointed with the ending and felt it was a let down after the excitement of the main story, but it is still a good watch. Great for a sit down with friends and a nice easy watch.
I recently read a lot of other reveiws on this film and another film that popped up a lot was "1000 corpses", i personally havent ever watched this film and did not know that the devils rejects was a sequel to it and i still enjoyed this film.
