Well not quite the sequel I expected, it's set out to stand up on its own. It has a good plot and a good story. although this time there is less blood and gore. I does feel like a much more polished and mature film. I think Rob certainly honed his directing technique on this film.
The acting is strong all except for Sheri Moon Zombie, who is only really there because she's Rob's Wife.
The Sets are good, and they all seem very realistic.
The film is different to House like I said and it feels different. It's got more of an action element and less hack and slash and it's also less twisted.
The features are pretty standard, trailers, documents, but there is a 2 hour on location feature, which although I haven't watched, it's a nice extra.
I think anyone who wants to see a horror film thats a little different should watch this.
