Dark Knight is the second serious film to the batman series. the first being batman begins and i must say, Dark Knight destroys batman begins in every way, better story, characters, cast etc. in this review, ill cover everything to try and get you to get this film, on blue ray of dvd.
Story
Dark Knight has so many twists and turns it unbelievable. its also full with action, romance, thrills and a few laughs. so the basic story is the joker is in gothem and batman has to catch him. in this batman film the joker is a bit more of a terrorist than a criminal, with blackmail and hostages. batman has a sort of Q from james bond and a new good guy Harvey who is a sort of polatictian who has a dark ending.
Cast
Dark Knights cast is absolutly outstanding, they may not be brad pitt, tom cruise and keria knightly (they're really famous) but it has actors that act just as well if not better. a special congrates to Heath Ledger who played a brillaint role as the joker, even better than Jack Nickleson.
Effects
there aint many special effects, only stunts and explosions, but these are done very very well.
Special features
The special features are nothing special, trailers of the film some pictures of the making, how they made the film and some commentary of the film.
My Opinion
I really like this film and will watch it more than once. the use of filming, action and speech is very well done and cant wait for the next one to come out.
Overall
Overall dark knight on Blue Ray is amazing, brillaint sound, picture everything, the only bad thing is that the zoom changes from full screen to widescreen which can be distrcting
