The "Dark Knight" is the sequel to "Batman Begins" and shows the darker side of Batman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan and was released in 2005.
In the story the new district attorney for Gotham is helping cleaning up crime and doing a very good job of it. However after his great start, a new criminal mastermind appears...
The story is very exciting and there is neither a dull moment in this very long film. The various twists and turns in the plot will make you want to carry on watching. The action scenes are very good and the special effects and the picture quality on the Blu-ray disk are amazing.
The acting is brilliant as well, in particular Heath Ledger who acts as a very creepy and cold version of the Joker. His performance is brilliant and was always going to be talked about more because of his circumstances. Bale does a good job but when he is in his batman disguise his voice is very annoying, probably more the person who was in charge of the audio effects more than his.
As I said before the picture quality is amazing and it makes this well worth getting on Blu-ray rather than on DVD. It really does feel like you are almost there even in the darkest of scenes.
The film however is very long but I don`t feel it went on for too long as I wanted to carry on watching for every minute of it.
Overall the Dark Knight is a really good movie which will probably be remembered for Heath Ledger`s creepy and eerie Joker. The film is rated a 12 but probably should be rated at least a 15 as the film is quite dark. The film also includes some extras but these are not particularly spectacular and some are not in high definition which is a bit bad!
Some of the special features on the Blu ray including how parts of the movie were made and shot, episodes of Gotham tonight and you even get a digital copy of the film to put on your laptop e.t.c! The Dark Knight on Blu-ray only costs £14.98 from Amazon, so buy it now!

The Dark Knight Introductiosn Dark Knight is the second serious film to the batman series. the first being batman begins and i must say, Dark Knight destroys batman begins in every way, better story, characters, cast etc. in this review, ill cover everything to try and get you to get this film, on blue ray of dvd. Story Dark Knight has so many twists and turns it unbelievable. its also full with action, romance, thrills and a few ... ...him. in this batman film the joker is a bit more of a terrorist than a criminal, with blackmail and hostages. batman has a sort of Q from james bond and a new good guy Harvey who is a sort of polatictian who has a dark ending. Cast Dark Knights cast is absolutly outstanding, they may not be brad pitt, tom cruise and keria knightly (they're really famous) but it has actors that act just as well if not better. a special congrates to Heath Ledger ...

Christopher Nolans Excellent Screen Conversion of The Caped Crusader
Both films are set in the dark and dirty city of Gotham, the stories follow Batman as he fights crime and generally saves the day.
Batman Begins: This film basically sets the scene for the probable next few batman films, we see bruce waynes story from the murder of his parents... to overcoming personal demons and rising to become the batman. While stopping along the way to kick Scarecrow butt.
