This is a film i thought was going to be very boring,it had had a lot of bad press but i thought as it was so contraversial i would give it a go. It tells the story of a secret of the church that the holy grail was in fact a woman it suggest thats christ had a heir and his descents live on today and the story is about two people who try to uncover the truth. They embark on a adventrous mission and are slowed by enimies at every turn,Ian Mckellin gives a outstanding performance as a key charecter too which is fabulous. After it had been on a while i really started to take intrest,it had a national treasure feel about it but nether the less i found it very compelling and at the end of the film couldnt take my eyes off it,i understand to some the suject matter may be offensive but i have to say i really enjoyed it,i generally do enjoy Ron Howard films but this one is a little different and with Tom hanks in the leading roll it has to be worth a go
