This sequal to the original crow movie follows along the same lines as before, a young man hated by the community is killed awfully with his fiance in terrible circumstances,the crow resserects him to seek revenge on the people that killed him and his girl friend,starring Edward furlong and david boreanaz unfortunatley this film doesnt have the same atmosphere as the first sinister movie ,its lighter and more tounge in cheek but also just as bloodthirsty. ...movie isnt his greatest the concept is really good but somewhere along the way this film looses its way of being scary and sinister as it should be ,its a romantic movie andhas some lovely moments but unfortunatley cant compare to the original,saying that its not awful either just differently done and more laid back,give it a go if you havnt seen it but dont expect the dark atmosphere of the first film:) ... more

Quick review of The Crow - Wicked Prayer (DVD)
there are 3 main problems with this movie. First off the director abandend the dark/gritty/intense look and feel and theme that the previous films had (even though the first 3 allhad different styles from each other) and made this one visually bright and colorful which gave the film the wrong mood that it needed, Plus the film reallly DRAGGED all the way to the end, it also seems like they made this one more campy as well. The overall result is that the film was horrible! ...

This is the fifth film in the crow series and stars Edward Furlong (child star from The Terminater) Tara Reid (American Pie, Van Wilder, Alone In The Dark) and David Boreanaz (hit tv shows Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel). The film is set in a polluted mining town called lake Ravasu. Just like the other crow films the hero and a loved one in this case his girlfriend are murdered and with the town being on the raven aztec reservation the hero eward ... ...the death of himself and his girlfriend by kiling the people that helped Lou and Luke to take their lives. But mean while Lou (Tara Reid) and Luke (David Boreanaz) go round the the town trying to become the most powerful evil of all the devil. Very very good film but you can not beat the first ever crow who was Brandon Lee. Action sences are fast paced and graphic very will done film with a good cast.
David Boreanaz is good as the villan but Edward ...

I loved this sequel to The Crow, staring Edward Furlong, known from Terminator 2 or American History X. this film really put a shine on Brandon Lee's The Crow. I thought it was very different from the other sequels which is why I liked it so much, as The Crow 2 and 3 pretty much took the original Crow and re-write it, The Crow 4 (Wicked-prayer) took it's own approuch and aded alot more black magic and other sci-fi features..
There are alot of stars ... ...Furlong(Terminator 2/ American History X), David Boreanaz (from Ange/ Buffy) and I think I reconized someone from Once upon a Time in Mexico..
I think it could of needed more funding and a more on-going story-line but other than that, I thought it was a very good film and would recomend it to anyone. ...

Leaving with his girlfriend Lily, Jimmy is ambushed by the satanic Luc Crash (David Boreanaz, the title character on TV's 'Angel') and his vicious biker gang. Crash slays both Lily and Jimmy as part of a ritual that will grant him supernatural powers. But little does Crash realise that the Crow, the spirit of revenge that helps the wronged make things right, has resurrected Jimmy, pitting the two in a supernatural battle between good and evil. Directed by Lance Mungia ('Six String Samurai'), 'The Crow: Wicked Prayer' boasts a strong supporting cast including Tara Reid, Dennis Hopper, and Macy Gray.
