Review:
From the very start of this film you will notice that is not the typical high profile blockbuster that Snipes usaully stars in and could even be the worst film that i have ever seen him in. The story is shockingly boring and predictable throughout and theres only about ten minutes of action in the whole film which are split into five minutes right at the start and about five minutes before the end so you will end up getting real bored in the hour and a half in between.About the only thing this film has going for it is the special effects used for explosions but with them being few and far between they do not really help the overall outlook of this film at all. The storyline is pretty much just a carbon copy of 'The Shooter' with only a few minor changes made to it and to be honest this film is really not worth watching if you have seen 'The Shooter'.
The casting for this film is also totally unconvincing as the girl that they have picked out to play Emily looks and acts much older than the 12 year old she is trying to play but having said that her performance was alot better than that of Snipes. The soundtrack is yet another thing that seriously lacks in this film and does not really add anything at all except possibly more boredom to it.
Overall if you are a die hard Wesley Snipes fan you may get some enjoyment out of this film but for everyone else i would highly recommend overlooking this title and going straight for 'The Shooter' instead.

The Contractor is available to buy from Amazon for as little as £6 but in my opinion this is too much as you will probably just end up using the disc as a coaster for your coffee cup.

Wesley Snipes stars in this explosive action film, which taps into early 21st-century fears concerning terrorism. Snipes plays a retired assassin who comes back for one last job when he learns of a deadly terrorist on the loose in London. But he's forced into hiding after being framed for a murder he didn't commit, and the film follows a plot similar to that of Luc Besson's LEON as he teams up with a pre-teen girl in order to prove his innocence.
