a bit of a rebel but also a genius and he faces the task of joining Star Fleet and following in the footsteps of his father. Also at Star Fleet is a young Vulcan called Spock who is also a genius and for some reason the two have a dislike for each other.
When training at Star Fleet all the cadets get tested as a lightening storm and distress signal is heard from the Vulcan planet. Kirk is not allowed to go as he is facing a trail for supposedly cheating on a test Spock created but his loyal doctor friend Bones gets him on board and it is a good job he did as Kirk remembers the stories about the day his father died and how it was claimed to be a lightening storm and distress call which got his ship destroyed and Kirk does managed to alert Captain Pike to this.
What will happen to the USS Enterprise and will Kirk and Spock ever be able ...

Advantages: Magical stories, timeless classics, will get you in the Xmas spirit! Disadvantages: Nothing at all
I bought this DVD about 2 years ago for myself when I was at University and Christmas was coming up. I was missing my family a lot, and I always saw these shows with my parents every year from when I was about 3 years old. So I knew it would be a great thing for me to watch to feel Christmassy. And this morning I was sorting out my Christmassy films and I found this one on the shelf. Harry grabbed it and kissed Father Christmas, so I put it on for my son's first ever viewing of the classic The Snowman and Father Christmas.
Both of these are stories by the wonderfully talented Raymond Briggs bought to life in animated short stories. The Snowman is probably the best known Christmas story there is for young children, dating all the way back to 1982, 4 years before I was even born! However, it remains as popular as ever know, with books ...

the reason that millions of people relate to Christmas and therefore have their own idea of the festive season and therefore compare Christmas films to their own personal experience. However , I must say that this director did a cracking job on this movie!
I like how this movie doesn't potray the perfect family as no one is perfect and so by having their ups and downs it shows that the family involved is normal and so is something absolutely everyone can relate to.
One criticism I have regarding this movie is the fact that it does star Chris Brown who is a young R n B singer (he also goes out with the pop star Rihanna! I have nothing against him , but my argument is that he has a huge follow of young female fans (say eleven and twelve year olds and above!) and because this film is quite rude in some places , I feel that it is setting a bad ...
