Disadvantages: Concentrates a little to much on Chaplins private life

The story follows Chaplins (Downey Jr) rise to stardom starting of as a stand in singer and dancer when his mother (Geraldine Chaplin) is booed of stage, to his final years in exile in Switzerland. Advantages: Great special effects, hilarious
Disadvantages: Nothing that comes to mind.

This great value dvd features, the original 1925 classic, and a 1942 remake with spoken dialogue and a new score. The story starts with the Lone Prospector (Chaplin), Who is travelling to Alaska, a snow storm eventually drives him in to the cabin of Black Lawson (Murray), a fellow prospector " Big Jim Mackay" is also forced into the cabin, after momentary scuffles, Black Lawson eventually has to accept that the two men are going nowhere, Black Lawson goes of in search of food, and has a run in with cops on the way, This sets in motion one of the films famous scenes where Jim Mackay, delerious from starvation imagines Charlie is a large... Advantages: Reserved the essence of Chaplin
Disadvantages: All the bad stuff that haapened to him

...One of the greatest artists the world has ever seen, he single-handedly changed the world of cinema and turned film into an art from, a man who is well-known for his act as a tramp, something which is far from what he was in real life. Known for popular films such as “The Kid” and “The Great Dictator”. This man took film development into a completely different zone; he had trekked through uncharted territory, where no man has walked before. He raised the bar so high that no other director or actor could even reach it. Yup. I’m talking about the one and only Charles Spencer Chaplin. (Also known as Charlie, Chaz, Charlot and, of course, The Little Tramp). This movie is about him. I don’t know what else to say to describe the storyline.
