...a bit of nostalgia, and The Chain certainly gives me that nostalgia buzz. The Chain was one of Channel 4's first movies. The story is remarkably simple; the movie follows a chain of house sales on the day of moving. As each story is told it tells you about there lives and as well as the character aspirations, as most are moving further up the property ladder. ...a good moral story. As the chain begins a young man makes the jump from living at a home with his mother into a rented flat with his promiscuous girlfriend. The second story shows a couple moving from the same rented flat into their first owned property.
