The Cat In The Hat- not just for Children, I find this hilarious!
I first came across this film when my boyfriend bought me it as a present one day. I sat down to watch and found myself not just laughing the whole way though but repeating all the funny voices! With Mike Myers as the voice over, it adds to the comedy of the film!
The Film
This film came out in 2004 and was released as an animation film which is certainly correct! The film starts with two children who live with their mother and on a cold wet day they find themselves bored with nothing to do.
The daughter is very sophisticated and enjoys being her mothers pet, whereas her brother who is older than him is very opposite. He finds himself sliding down the stairs in sleeping bags and being generally mischievous.
The cat then comes in and starts off the fun...things get wild and crazy and the perfect home is literally turned upside down! Can you imagine the panic of Sally (the daughter) when she looks at the time!
Watch the DVD to find out what happens!!!
Loves
The reason why I love this film so much is because not only do I find Mike Myers hilarious but, the film itself is such a comedy. It makes you laugh so much that you nearly cry and with all the bonuses on the DVD, it makes the DVD well worth buying.
This film can be picked up from around 7£ nowadays as it has been around for quite a while now. This film is on for 78 minutes which is just enough really if you are watching this with children because they can get quite fiddly.
Hates
Some people may not find it as funny as I do, it is probably because once I start laughing I cannot stop!
This is a really great film though and is worth the money!

Advantages: The props and furniture etc are bright and chunky making its very unusual and funny to watch! Disadvantages: Sally and Conrad's mum have an admirer who is a disgusting man who wants to send Conrad away.
