Card buying can be an expensive thing, especially at this time of year and as much as I love the quality of the cards in stores such as Clintons, with my large family I just cannot afford to buy all my family cards from stores such as these at Christmas. So I was pretty impressed with Card Factory opened up a store in my local town recently. For me this store offers good quality products, but at really cost effective prices.
Obviously their main market is the card market. They offer cards for all occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, moving, sorry, thank you and general cards too. Their cards are priced at 59p for a small card, 89p for a medium card and 99p for a large card, which for me is excellent value for money. Advantages: Convenient Disadvantages: You could lose it!
We Londoners are insistent people. We want cheap travel to anywhere in one of the biggest cities in the world. We want it regularly, without delays and seven days a week?if possible. Not too much to ask then?oh and we want a convenient travel card rather than paying with cash for each individual journey. Of course.
Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the Oyster card then. For those who don?t live in London or perhaps have never even stepped foot in the capital, the following paragraphs may read like absolute gobbledegook, but trust me, I think I know what I?m talking about and I think it makes sense.
The Oyster card is basically a form of electronic ticketing used on public transport ? buses, some National Rail trains, trams, underground and the Docklands Light Railway system within Greater London. The blue card, which costs just a £3 ...

The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting!
Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
Points can also be collected in other stores, for example Dolland and Aitchinson also give 2 points per pound, as do Homebase. As far as I am aware however, you cannot redeem your points against your total bills in these stores.
