The Business is Nick Love's follow up film to The Football Factory, and contains two main actors from that film, Danny Dyer who plays Frankie, and Tamer Hassan who players Charlie. Roland Mankoonian also plays a short role in the film.
-- The Storyline ---
Frankie (Danny Dyer), attacks his mother's abusive partner and needs to get out of the area. When the opportunity arises to deliver something to sunny Spain, Frankie takes the opportunity. Waiting for him in Spain is Charlie (Tamer Hassan), a rich 'player' who owns a bar and lives in the Costa Del Sol. He takes a shine to Frankie and offers him a place as his personal driver.
Frankie and Charlie get closer as they spend more time together and everything is going well for young Frankie. However, this is where the brilliant Geoff Bell (Sammy) enters the film. His character as an almost psychotic business partner to Charlie is quickly given away after he punches a waiter for no real reason before swimming to the safety of Charlie's boat.
Unlike Charlie however, Sammy takes an instant dislike to Frankie and accuses him of trying to weedle his way into their partnership. As Charlie and Sammy take more and more risks involving the trafficing of drugs, tension's start building and with the three of them all having different opinions, things start to go badly wrong.
I am choosing not to write in detail about the characters as I feel it would give too much away, I will mention that Sammy's partner, the lovely Georgina Chapman makes up the four main characters of the film.
Its a good film which I enjoyed and I would recommend to you, especially if you enjoyed previous Nick Love films - its a huge improvment on things like The Football Factory.
