I am a huge Danny Dyer fan, always have been and always will be and when I first saw him in the Business, I was glued to the screen because he really is the eye candy of this film for any female. I have watched this over and over again, purely because its a great film, has a good storyline, the acting isn't too bad and it has a really good soundtrack.
The story takes us back to the 80's, Frankie (Danny Dyer) is living in South London. He lives with his parents and detests his father because of the way that he treats his mother. Frankie wants to be someone, he is at that young age, where he influenced by the gangster lifestyle and thinks thats the sort of life he want to lead, an attractive yet dangerous life. Being asked to deliver a package to Malaga, he lands on the doorstep of a nightclub to deliver the package where is greeted by Charlie (Tamer Hassan). Charlie, the playboy, and also ex-con takes Frankie under his wing and gives him the opportunity to work for him.
Living under his own roof, Frankie become's Charlies right hand man and as every day passes he finds himself getting himself deeper and deeper into something that he may not be able to get out of.
The Business is a typical English film which contains majority of the cast from the likes of The Football Factory, Layer Cake and other famous British films, which is great because that why we love these types of films because of the characters that they protray and they fit in well.
The soundtrack to the film, makes it even more watchable, as it set in the 80's, its nice to hear all the old favourites from the likes of Duran Duran, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Blondie plus many more.
If you like British films and haven't seen this one before then its definitely one to watch.
