This movie was made by walt disney productions in america and is a great family film to watch. Staring lead parts inc Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley three of the best actors around. This is part 2 in the movie trilogy so i would recommend watch the first film before watching this one-"The curse of the black plear [2003]". .......Plot......... ...Ok...so you take one of today's most talented actors alongside two young and upcoming stars and an Oscar-winning thespian. What do you get? A great film. So then we'll take this a bit further.... what happens if you take the above, stick them in pirate suits and surround them with a great supporting cast, awesome visual effects and a superb storyline? You get a great film with hours of excitement and action-packed drama. This is one film I had looked forward to seeing at the cinemas, but me being me, a lazy student sat on my back-side all day surfing the net, I never got round to it...but I did eventually purchase it, not for myself but as an Xmas present for the other half. .... Through misidentification, they capture and kidnap Elizabeth Swann. Turner and Sparrow set out as partners to find the Black Pearl: Turner to save Elizabeth, and Sparrow to re-claim his ship. They steal a ship from the Royal British Navy, assemble a rabble of a crew, and so their journey begins. Performances Depp is a treat to watch, and steals the movie with his portrayal of Jack Sparrow. The picture book pirate, complete with outrageous attire, a braided beard, eye makeup, a drunken swagger, Jack Sparrow is by far one of the strangest yet most endearing anti-heroes ever to grace the screen. You never know if he is drunk, crazy, or cleverer than you. Bloom is suitably heroic, His Will Turner an Errol Flynn-like buccaneer, out to rescue his damsel in distress, and full of lofty ideals.
