Now im reviewing the fiml only, I do have the DVD but im young and not going to waste my youth watching directors cut however im sure they are very good indeed!
Ok The Bourne Identity starring Matt Damon and well some others who quite frankly I couldnt give a damn about because Matt makes this film by himself without any other big shot actors!
I really dont want to tell you the plot of this film because I didnt know it when i saw it and i was taken back by how good it is! But however due to demand I am going to have to tell you about the film, Matt Damon is Jason Bourne and is found by a fishing boat floating in the sea after being shot twice in the back. After waking up he does not know who he, how old he is, where he was born suffering from a severe case of amnesia! However he does things instinctively such as speaking languages, martial arts, tying knots. The film is Jason Bournes quest to find out who he was before he was shot in the back but while he is trying to find himself the CIA is trying to make him dissapear.
The only other thing I will say is the story is realistic, there are no set goodies or baddies which makes a huge change as I say its different but not 'Phonebooth' (sorry Colin) different, its good!
Some reviews say this film is predictable I disagree you dont know what is going to happen at all, that along with some great performances make it a must watch!
