Advantages: Beautiful to look at, good temperament usually. Disadvantages: Bad experience with my auntie's cat
My aunty had an EnglishBlue cat. It was really beautiful to look at, but had a really nasty temperament. Whenever I would go to stroke this cute cat it would hiss and go to bite me. So I left it well alone. It would just sit there in a ball by itself. Oh it was lovely to my aunty, but that's the only person he was lovely to. If anyone else tried to get near him he would hiss at them.
Many people show British Blues and have marvellous success. British Blues are very beautiful cats to look at. They have been described as a stocky cat with a woolly ash-grey coat and copper eyes. A full broad chest, short strong legs, rounded paws and a tail that is thick at the base and tapers slightly to a rounded tip to show off a "football player" physique. They certainly are very handsome cats to look at.

This is a workbook intended for students studying for AQA GCSE EnglishLanguage, Specification A. Although forming part of the Language syllabus, this is in fact a collection of poems from the AQA Anthology. They are all poems from different cultures or traditions and most are written by non-native speakers; some of the poems, such as 'Half-Caste', feature non-standard English. In total there are sixteen poems, and they are divided into Cluster 1 and Cluster 2, eight poems each. Poems by Imtiaz Dharker and Grace Nichols are featured in both clusters, whilst Cluster 1 also includes poems by Chinua Achebe, Nissim Ezekiel, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Edward Brathwaite, Tatamkhulu Afrika and Denise Levertove. Cluster 2 additionally has poems by Sujata Bhatt, Tom Leonard, John Agard, Moniza Alvi, Niyi Osundare and Derek Walcott. In the exam ...

This version is on the Anchor Bay label, and you get two DVD's for your money, and cost the grand total of a fiver in my favourite second hand DVD shop. The reason why there are two discs is that you get the German version in which the film was shot and an English version. For me I preferred the German version, with English subtitles, as it seems more atmospheric and there is an extra 12 minutes. Following the film with subtitles was no problems, and better than watching a badly dubbed film, saying that the English version is fine as well.
The film is in widescreen with 5.1 Dolby in the German version, but mono in the English version. The film runs for around 107 minutes and rated at 15. The extras are theatrical trailers and Behind the Scenes ...
This is the story of a strait-laced professor who is reduced to a figure of ridicule by a callous and manipulative woman whom he meets at the local Blue Angel night club. Features both German and English language versions. Newly Remastered From The 35mm Negative.

DVD Description
This Josef Von Sternberg film, based on Heinrich Mann's novel PROFESSOR UNRAT, made Marlene Dietrich a celebrity and began a tumultuous relationship between star and director that spanned Sternberg's most creative period. The film features Emil Jannings as Dr. Immanuel Rath, a provincial prep school teacher who becomes incensed when he learns his boys have become infatuated with Lola Lola (Dietrich), a cabaret singer. Heading to the Blue Angel, a nightclub, to catch his pupils, Rath instead becomes bewitched by the sensuous Lola himself, beginning an obsession that drives him to the depths of despair. Visionary, haunting, and emotionally unrelenting, THE BLUE ANGEL stands as Sternberg's crowning achievement. Filmed in both German and English simultaneously, the German version is generally considered superior to its English language counterpart.
