Admittadely, the hype was unjustified as I watched the film, I wouldn't say its the scariest of all time...but if you study it carefully it becomes a very innovative and imaginative film that was well thought out. I think it was very good and the acting performances were very convincing for such an inexperienced cast. It is not however a film you could enjoy again and again. Also I feel the video version loses a lot over the cinema version due to the fact most of the movie was shot on a small camcorder. Rent it yes, but don't buy it full price. Lets hope that this film doesn't lead to a churning out of similar films. Also what was very poor in the film was the way in which they just "couldnt-seem-to-get-out-of-the-forest"which was a bit drab.

Advantages: Comedy, bad horror if you like that type of thing, good excuse for Christmas wrapping. Disadvantages: Boring, Unrealistic, Poor acting, B Type Movie
