I'm sorry, but even if you take away the hype (which is bound to ruin a film before it starts), Blair Witch was still as boring as ever. This was one of the few films I actually considered leaving the cinema before the end, but I admit I held out just to see what all the hype was about. Surely it must get better eventually? apparantly not. The 'incredible', 'ingenious', 'original' hand-held camera effects were so joggy they made your bleary eyed and sick before long. not to mention the 'originality' of it wore off in the first few shots. I had no sympathy for any of the characters, so I couldn't give a damn if the invisble-to-the-audience 'monster' got them, which makes for a very poor film in any case. I wouldn't even waste time seeing it on TV.
