Advantages: some catchy good tunes, enjoyable to listen to Disadvantages: would have like there to have been more tracks, some songs are a little repetitive.
Blackout - Britney Spears is her latest album to date ever since she hit the headlines not long ago but for all the wrong reasons such as getting a divorce and her shaving of that famous hair of hers in front of many shocked onlookers. I feel that she has a lot to live up to now all that has happened she needed to pick her self up and get back to some complete normality and what way to do it by coming up with such a cool album such as blackout as the name which seems to be what happened to the miss spears.
In my opinion I feel that the album cover looks a little bit on the cheap side and more effort could have gone into making her look a little more classy and stylish etc. There are 12 tracks on the album most being fairly good but the one I like most has to be the ever so popular more air played gimme more track as it is cool ...
Advantages: delivers some awesome songs and an overall great sound Disadvantages: a few bad songs thrown in
the best in town is the second full album released by the welsh post hardcore band , the blackout. Having listened to the previous album i had high hopes for the album although this is the first album on their new record label Epitah so my concern was that they would keep the right formula. The unique 6 member band fshowcase welsh talent for post hardcore rock music, their real unique feature is that of two singers for screaming and melodies which adds up to a very polished and individual sound.
This album , the best in town proves to me that the success of the first full album was no fluke delivering a powerfull sound with heavy guitar riffs and scorching screamo amongst the melodic singing. The addition of a guest singer who is the lead singer of youmeatsix was also a pleasent surpirse when listening to the album.
