Ninja films made as they should be

Advantages: A mature serious approach to the genre
Disadvantages: compared to some martial arts films now, looksa little dated

Abysmal slapstick ninja nonsense

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: Everything, painful to watch

Red Shadow, otherwise known as Akakage, is taken from Japanese Manga and frankly thats where it should have stayed. CAST: Masanobu Ando ?. Akakage Megumi Okina ?. Koto-Hime Kumiko Aso ?. Asuka Jun Murakami ?. Aokage Naoto Takenaka ?. Shirokage Fumiya Fujii ?. Ranmaru The plot is set alledgedly, in feudal Japan. After a comet crashes a master swordmaker fashions weapons that can cut through the toughest substances on earth. This made me wonder how this substance could be worked with, if it is so impervious to earthly metals etc. Anyway a trio of ninja's called, amazingly.... red shadow, blue shadow, and white shadow {must have taken months to think those names up} want to get their hands on these weapons, with the intention of stopping feuding lords from feuding.
