Advantages: Great tracks in harmony Disadvantages: Couple of tracks not so good
...When I was a kid, my dad was really into Paul McCartney & Wings, and he had the cassette of the ex-Beatles star's 'All The Best' album. Recently, I found the album on CD on ebay and bought a copy for his birthday. He chuckled, we put it on and revelled in the nostalgic memories it presented us.
The compilation was released in 1987 and contains 17 of McCartney's hits, including the theme tune to the James Bond film 'Live And Let Die' (the track is of the same name) and the magical 'We All Stand Together'.
These are the tracks:
1. Jet
2. Band On The Run
3. Coming Up
4. Ebony and Ivory
5. Listen To What The Man Said
6. No More Lonely Nights
7. Silly Love Songs
8. Let 'Em In
9. C Moon
10. Pipes Of Peace
11. Live And Let Die
12. Another Day
13. Once Upon A Long Ago
14. Say Say Say
15. My Love
16. We All Stand Together...

Advantages: Sound, build, playability Disadvantages: Rounded back can be awkward at first.
...If you have read some of my other guitar reviews, you will know im a bit of a collector of guitars. In fact, you could almost say its an obsession.
Therfore no collection would be complete without an axe from one of the world's finest and best known acoustic producers. Ovation.
I own the Ovation Celebrity Deluxe which i believe is the finest looking in the Ovation range. However, you will also know that from my other reviews, Im left handed with the guitar which narrows your choice in colour.
For a Right hander, the choices include, Black, Natural, Wine, Green and a sunburst effect top and also available in vasious mapel finishes. Im afraid to say my only choice was Black. Still it does look rather fetching and contrasts well with the Marquetry effect leaves around the multiple sound holes.
Being an Ovation, it does come...

Advantages: Entertaining, filled with trivia, great music, candid moments and fond memories. Disadvantages: Not just music?
...Paul McCartney's own words in the extra feature, More About Us speaks volumes about what one can expect from the US concert tour, and this documentary, "We called it US because there's US and the Band, Us and the audience, and US, the like-minded people around the world."
Many McCartney fans seem to have mixed feelings about how this concert was presented here. I've read several dissatisfied perspectives about how much time is devoted to various audience members and plenty of complaints that this is far more documentary than it is concert. While I can certainly understand that avid fans simply want to hear the music, I can't say I agree with much of the dissatisfaction that I've seen vented over this DVD.
If you don't know who Paul McCartney is, you must have been living under a supremely isolated rock for the last few decades...
