the same timeless charm, and I prefer this over these new digital techniques that have been employed in Disney?s? Pixar movies any day.
As with lots of other Disney films, there is a digital remake, which boosts the quality of the audio and the picture. This is not necessary, but may appeal to children more, especially those who love films created with modern animation techniques.
The new DVD celebrates the 25th anniversary, and is a must have for collectors. I myself have the original VHS in my collection, and I love it.

This story begins when a lonely widow adopts an orphaned fox cub named Tod. The mischievous fox soon meets up with an hound puppy called Copper.
As the innocent pair grow up together in the forest, they become inseparable friends, they have fun playing together and getting up to all kinds of things.
I am not going to give you alot of info on the plot because I always give the story away and for people who haven't seen this film will be really cross with me, So lets just say that there friendship is put to the test.

Book Summary...
During the summer whilst the successful actor Molly Fox is on holiday in New York, she loans her Dublin home to her playwright friend (and narrator) so that she might start writing her new play. It is the longest day of the year as well as it being her friend Molly?s birthday, and the playwright is finding it increasingly difficult to find her inspiration and instead turns her attention to her own life, reflecting on her past and her relationship with Molly and their mutual friend Andrew.
Several questions are addressed throughout the novel through the playwrights (who is never named) reflections; how have her relationships with her friends developed over the years? What is the distinction between a good actor and a great one? And why does Molly Fox never celebrate her birthday?
